    Alex calls to confirm

    A quick call to confirm the hours and the day, then Alex matches you with a vetted, DBS-checked cleaner and books the first visit. Same cleaner every time from then on.

    Booking questions

    Do I pay anything now?+
    No. Nothing is paid online. Once your cleaner is in place you pay them £14 an hour directly after each visit, and the £6 an hour management fee is paid to Day One monthly in advance.
    Is the price the final price?+
    It is the price for the hours you choose. If your home needs more or fewer hours than suggested, Alex will say so on the call and you can adjust before anything starts. The rate itself never changes: £20 an hour, made up of £14 to your cleaner and £6 to Day One.
    What is the management fee for?+
    The £6 an hour pays for interviewing and vetting your cleaner, DBS checks, matching you with the right person, cover when they are on holiday or ill, a replacement if it is not working out, and someone to call if anything needs putting right.
    Am I tied in?+
    There is a one month minimum from your cleaner's first visit, then it rolls month to month and you can stop with two weeks' notice. You also have a 14-day cooling-off period after signing your agreement.
    Do you cover my area?+
    We cover Chorley and the villages around it, from Leyland and Clayton-le-Woods down to Adlington and Coppull, and from Croston and Eccleston across to Wheelton, Withnell and Rivington. That is most of the PR6, PR7, PR25 and PR26 postcodes. Put your postcode into the form above and it will tell you straight away.
